Colts at Jags: A Paradoxical game where both teams want to lose.

Peter King pointed out that in tomorrow's AFC South game between the Indianapolis Colts and the Jacksonville Jaguars, that both these teams will ironically prosper with a loss.

Three teams all want to lose...That’s not right!

Power of relegation

We are days away from week 17 of the 2011 NFL season, and most fans will be looking to see which teams will qualify for the post season. For teams that have no chance in getting to the playoffs, who are facing other non-playoff bound teams, we can certainly expect fairly empty stadiums.

I feel so ugly for not backing the Bears in the spread.

When my friend Justin, introduced me to the spread in 2008, it really made me more aware of the rest of the NFL games going on around the league.

While on that trip, I always made sure I backed the team I was watching that day and the Bears. That’s probably why I never won squat that year.

Squeaky bum time...Week 16 of the spread.

This is the fourth year that I have played the spread. In 08, I didn’t win a single week, in 09 I won of the weekly.

Last year I did not a win a thing, and for all three years I was continually miles away from the leader board. Well this year I’m doing better than ever.

I won the Bodeans "Pig out for a year" award!

At this year's London NFL game, I won the most amazing prize. Quite wonderfully the lovely people from Bodeans BBQ spotted me at Wembley with Staley the custom made Bears hat and voted for me as...wait for it... "The best dressed fan" at the game. I was gobsmacked.

Have the Colts really “Sucked for Luck?”

It’s hard to imagine, that the Colts are actually losing on purpose. I have seen them play a few times on T.V and they are trying (trying being the all important word here) to win...or at least to some cynics; that they are at looking like they are trying to win, or perhaps they are the very least trying just so much to not get thrashed.

Last season, with a fully fit Peyton Manning, the Colts were a decent team boasting a 10-6 record. They won their AFC South title. All be it that has never been too hard for them in recent years, as their challengers; the Jags, the Titans and the Texans have not put much of a stop to them. In fact since 2003 the Colts have won their conference every year apart from in 2008 when they came second.  Last season they lost to the Jags in the playoffs who then beat the Patriots.

Kicking off the NFL weekend with the best Tailgate in London: Bodeans

It's been a few weeks since the monster Tailgate party at Wembley and since then us Londoners have to find more formal joints to get our tailgate snack on to watch the NFL and college ball.

This weekend Steph and I went into London for the best Tailgate food in the U.K, by far. Bodeans BBQ. We had frequented their Tower Hill branch several times, but surprisingly we have never tried their original Soho branch.

Devin Hester: You are RIDICULOUS

My latest tune (in collaboration with Kieran Ayres) is inspired by the great Devin Hester, because he is RIDICULOUS
